New for 2023 in the Rolex Day-Date 40 line is a model with a Bright black dial sunray finish creates delicate light, with highly legible Chromalight display with long-lasting blue luminescence. Its classic polished index hour markers and hands made of 18k Yellow Gold with lumins fill look amazing on such a dial, emphasizing the sophistication of the model. The date indicator is traditionally placed at the 3 o’clock position. At the 12 o’clock, position is a semi-circular window showing the day of the week in full, providing an instantly recognizable, unique design of Day-Date. The ribbed screw-down crown in 18k Yellow Gold Triplock with double watertight system, adorned with the Rolex logo, is a traditionally recognizable part of Rolex watches. The dial is covered with a scratch-resistant anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a Cyclops lens above the date with double anti-reflective coating. A solid 18k Yellow Gold screw-down case back with fine fluted edges, closes the movement. The fluted fixed 18k Yellow Gold bezel is not only an aesthetic element of this watch, but also a true hallmark of Rolex. The in-house Rolex mechanical movement, caliber 3255, contains 31 jewels and has an approximate power reserve of approximately 70 hours powers. This delightful timepiece is presented on an 18k Yellow Gold President bracelet with semi-circular 3-piece links for flawless beauty. It features Rolex’s original concealed folding Crownclasp to secure the watch on your wrist. Water resistant up to 100m/330ft (10 ATM).
